okay so today ruled. finally got the GameShark codes working for imported Pokemon Ruby and my starter Treecko learned Leaf Blade way early. also — and I cannot stress this enough — the new MIDI jukebox update makes Guile's Theme actually sound GOOD through my Sound Blaster instead of that tinny beeping mess it used to be. I don't know what changed but bless whoever fixed it.

staying up way too late writing cheat code pages. school tomorrow. worth it. going to bed at, checks clock, 2 AM. classic.

somebody named ZERO_COOL signed my guestbook and joked about finding a "backdoor in my CGI." made my heart stop for a second lol. it's fine, it's a joke, i checked. but now i'm paranoid and reading every entry twice. anyway 4,700+ signatures now?? that's insane to me. thank you to everyone who isn't a bot.

went with my cousin this time. still get chills at the upside-down kiss scene. also finally beat the game on the PS2 — the swing physics feel so much better than I expected going in. going to write up the full review for the movie cave page this weekend. Two Towers review still isn't done either. I have too many hobbies and not enough hours after homework.

happy new year!! 2003 is going to be huge. Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire finally comes out in the US this year (I've had the import for months, don't @ me). also I want to redo the whole site layout, add more cheat codes, and get the visitor counter past 10,000 by summer. big goals. resetting the odometer felt symbolic somehow.

also I need to sleep before 1 AM at least once this year. we'll see.

Breaking character again, sorry. The diary above is the bit — a time capsule of who I was.
